Vintage White Dreams......

I do not know when I became smitten with WHITE , but now it seems I cannot get enough!!!! The more pics I see of white in decorating , the more in love I become....I don't know about anyone else, but my taste seems to have evolved over many years. I have almost completely changed everything in my home to my new combo of vintage, beachy, cottage, and of course WHITE!!!!! This has been done frugally... You do not have to spend a fortune to get " the look." Garage sales and flea markets are the best for new found treasures!!! At this point, I could probably decorate two homes in completely different styles... My sisters love to shop for their home in my garage!! No worries...my hubby is ok with all of this...although on several occasions I have almost ended up in the garage!!!! LOL Some more inspirational photos to dream about!!! Stay Peaceful Debbie

More Vintage Farmhouse Finds At Homegoods!!!!

Ok we all know I have no willpower!!!! Especially when it comes to Homegoods...I go at least once a week , sometimes more.I must say I usually leave with a bag or two...lol This week I came upon an adorable metal stool that is white and chippy....my favorite . I also bought a huge distressed mirror that I hung over my couch... as well as a white long Ralph Lauren pillow!!!! Then I come back and, immediately ,like a chicken without a head, I race around for the perfect spot! I think I found the spots..... but another Homegoods trip might change all that!!! Door Makeover!!!!

I was trying to come up with an idea to spice up the door going down to my basement.My husband is a carpenter so you would think this would get done easily.....not so fast!!! Lol .Ever hear of the shoemakers kids? Lol Well I finally decided on the look ,it was go time!!!!!! After all was said and done, I loved the outcome....thanks Hubby....YOU ROCK,!!!!!!!!

This is the standard type door I started with...pretty boring hugh?

This is the finished product!!! I love the way it opens up the space...makes hallway look bigger!!!!

Of course this led to a new light fixture... because now you can see down the steps....

And I needed something pretty to look at through the door....so I dug up some vintage China and presto!!!

Of course it must have a wreath!!!!Just happened to have a lemon leaf wreath that was perfect!!!!

I love the way it came out! I painted it a pretty light green.....was just the look I was going for. Till next time Stay Peaceful.....Debbie

Ok...I know it is only October, but since my Pinterest frenzy I have come across many Christmas pics!!!! I typed in Cottage Christmas and I thought my head would explode!!!! I got that twinge of excitement even though Christmas is a ways away...so of course, my wheels start turning!!! I lay in bed thinking of my Christmas mantel....mmmm m m........lol.
