  3. Gorgeous! It seems like I've come out in the summer version of your cold - raging sore throat, gritty eyes, headache supremo! Lol Haven't had this in years, so I'm feeling a whole heap of sympathy for the two of us! ;-) I love your idea of hanging onto the holiday spirit, but living in the 'sweatbox' of an Australian summer, and having to deal with higher than average humidity this year, I'm afraid I didn't wait to put the whole bling-thing away for another year! I feel somewhat guilty for saying this, but I'm loving my bland white walls again!! Lol Here's wishing you and yours a wonderful happy and healthy new years. heather x

  13. Very pretty! I won't be taking everything down either, I need to keep it cheery for January...usually the dreariest month. I love what you've done.

  14. Very pretty! I love that you still have your greenery. I took all of our Christmas things down because I want to get started on a few painting projects before I head back to work. Our greenery was too dry to keep, but I am still using our mercury glass pieces and pinecones for a bit of a wintry feel. Wishing you all the best in this New Year.

  16. Hi Debbie!

I'm totally in love with your fire place! I love all the winter decorations and same as you it's sad to see holiday and festive atmosphere go, so I'm keeping them as long as I can ;)

  17. Since I only use fresh greenery for the holidays I had to take mine down. It was a little (lot) worn and weathered and not the shabby kind we like. :). I put away anything red from the holidays but kept the white sled and anything to do with snow and brought out the snowmen for the month of Jan and Feb. I am totally in love with your white tulips. :) xo

  21. Your displays look so pretty. What a great way to decorate your home after Christmas. I love the tiny ladder the most I think. The linen and candles on the steps are a wonderful touch that I have to remember.

  22. Beautiful photos. I want to do a winter theme also, but I will take most of the Christmas decorations down. What's left will be the base of my winter theme. Thanks for the inspiration. Dropping by for the Clever Chick's party!
